The course aims to ‘increase capacity of all staff and service users in relation to key information on the safeguarding of vulnerable people as outlined in the National Policy "Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons at Risk of Abuse", published in December 2014. 

This restrictive practice training course is for any person working within the healthcare & nursing areas, or any other profession
where restrictive practice could be required as a last resort.

Underlying causes/ triggers of responsive behaviour and provide learner with the attitude, knowledge and skills to deal with responsive behaviour effectively.

This course is aimed at any person working in the nursing, healthcare or any profession where infection control and management of it is required.

This programme outlines the core principles of best practice in managing risk, underpinned by the philosophy and care needs.

Provide participants with an insight into what the experience of dementia may be like. It will give an introduction to the concept of person-centered care and give a basic understanding of dementia as a range of different conditions.
