Assignment Submission

Healthcare Training Solutions College of Further Education operates an online assessment format. This means the assessment process is more streamlined, more accessible and the waiting time for Provisional Results is reduced.

The following are the 3 types of assignment submission required when uploading your completed assignment.

1. Text Input Submission

This is where you will enter your answer into the text box provided.
 

2. Document Upload Submission

This is where you will upload your completed assignment using the ‘Attach file’ feature provided.
 

3. Video Recording Upload Submission

This is where you will upload your completed video recording using YouTube and the text box provided.

Please be aware that:

• Your Tutor will not accept any assignment through email, WhatsApp etc. You must submit your assignments through our online platform.

• When uploading your assignment through 'Document Upload Submission', please ensure it is contained in one full document (PDF only) as the system does not allow multiple files to be uploaded for one question.

• When uploading video recordings, please keep recordings to the specified time of 5-minutes.

• Please ensure that your recording is Unlisted and ensure the full link has been pasted into the text box.

• Once you have uploaded, you will see that your file has been uploaded and can be viewed by clicking 'download' as per the screenshot below. The 'Choose File' option will still be there if you need to replace what you have uploaded.

• If you click submit and no files have been uploaded and/or no answers submitted through text box where required, you will receive a warning message advising you of this.

• If your internet connection is weak, you may see the following banner on your screen. Please continue to submit your work as normal. 

• If you choose to continue and submit without a complete assessment, your submission will still be processed and graded based on what you have submitted.

• It is your responsibility to ensure you upload and submit the correct assessments for each module through our online submission portal by the specified deadline.

• Once you submit your assignment, you will receive an email confirming we have received it. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam/junk folders.

Failure to upload your assignments correctly will result in a grade of zero.
