QQI Certification Process
In this guide, you will find helpful information on our QQI certification process.
Please note that from February 2026, a fee of €20 applies for the issuance of a QQI Component Certificate, and a fee of €50 applies for the issuance of a QQI Major Certificate. You will be emailed a payment link once your certificate is available for processing.
On completion of your course, you are given 3 weeks to complete and submit your portfolio. Following this, the following internal processes will occur:

Your portfolio will be received and corrected by your tutor.

Your portfolio will then be internally verified by Healthcare Training Solutions College of Further Education's Quality Assurance Team.

Your portfolio will then be cross moderated by Healthcare Training Solutions College of Further Education's Quality Assurance Team.

Your portfolio will then be externally authenticated by a QQI registered authenticator.
On completion of these processes, we will submit your results to QQI for certification. Your Provisional Results will be available in the meantime.
Please note that Healthcare Training Solutions College of Further Education operates a limited number of certification periods each year.

As a result, it may take up to six months after submitting your portfolio to receive your certificate.
